Ernesto Gonzaléz Valdívia

Known as the "Pintor de la Tierra (Painter of the Earth)", Ernesto Gonzaléz's fascination with nature began as a child. Since then, it has been the inspiration of his ecological artistry. Over the past two decades, Ernesto has perfected a distinct technique of blending vibrantly colored minerals gathered throughout various parts of the island in creating individual one-of-a kind pieces. His work has been recognized as truly unique and has the prestigious honor of being on longterm exhibition at the Capitol building in Havana. He has been awarded several national and international prizes.
